Product Overview
SuperTie™ Coil Rod System offered in three different strengths: 15,000 pounds (7,500 pounds safe working load), 24,000 pounds (12,000 pounds safe working load at) and 34,000 pounds (17,000 pounds safe working load) and is most commonly used with job-built (plywood and 2×4) forms and handset modular forms. These specific Fiberglass Coil Rod ties will never rust, eliminating the need for break-back, plugging, and works well with anything from handset wall forms to crane-set gang-form systems.
- A Variety of Sizes – ½”, ¾”, and 1” diameters with strengths of up to 15,000, 24,000, and 34,000 lbs.
- Extends Form Life – All forms and form liners strip easily from the structure without damage from the ties saving money and time.
- Reusable Parts – Simply strip hardware from form, reuse over 100 times.
Always use 2:1 safety factor when engineering tie spacings; refer to the ACI-suggested tie spacing noted in the SuperTie Installation Guide.

SuperTie™ Fiberglass Coil Rods
RJD Fiberglass Coil Rod will never rust, eliminating the need for break-back, plugging, and patching. RJD Fiberglass Coil Rod Systems are offered in grey color, and in 1/2” (15K Ultimate), 3/4” (24K Ultimate) and 1” (34K Ultimate) diameters.

SuperTie™ Bearing Plate BP615 & BP300
The Bearing Plate is a required component with the SuperTie Coil Rod System. BP615 is a 4”x4” steel plate that fits the 15K Coil Rod system. BP300 is a 5”x5” steel plate that fits the 24K and 34K Coil Rod Systems.

SuperTie™ Coil Rod Form Fixtures
Form Fixture to be used with the 15K, 24K and 34K SuperTie Fiberglass Coil Rod. (Do not use any non-RJD engineered Form Fixture/Hardware with RJD fiberglass rod, this could result in form failure and/or injury.)
