Fiberglass Form Tie-System
The SuperTie R6 is RJD's light-duty fiberglass form tie system, rated at 3,000 pound safe working load . The .308 rod can be cut to length at the job site or is sent in precut lengths The rod locks with the patented GND6000 gripper, and stays in the wall after stripping, where it cannot rust, stain, or need patching.

Product Overview
SuperTie™ R6 Patented Gripper System secures job-built (plywood and 2x4) and handset modular wall forms through concrete placement and initial hydration at a 3,000 pound safe working load. once the forms strip the fiberglass rod stays in the wall and trims flush, so the finish carries no break-back scars, plugs, or patches. US Patent #7,819,388.

When determining tie spacings, refer to guidelines in ACI 347R-14. All formwork load calculations shall be preformed by a qualified engineer. Failure to do so may result in form failure or injury.

RJD Fiberglass Smooth Rod will never rust, eliminating the need for break-back, plugging, and patching and allowing for superior architectural finishes. RJD Fiberglass Smooth Rod R6 System (.308”) is offered in gray, white, tan, brown, and black.
SuperTie™ Gripper GND6000
The patented GND6000 Gripper anchors the R6 rod against the bearing plate. Use RJD grippers with RJD rods only; pairing hardware from other manufacturers risks form failure and injury.
SuperTie™ Bearing Plate BP615
The BP615 Bearing Plate is a required component with the SuperTie Gripper. BP615 is a 4”x4” steel plate that fits the R6 and R15 systems.
